Sindh Changes School Timings Amid Severe Cold Wave

The Sindh government has changed school timings across the province in response to an intensifying cold wave, aiming to protect students from harsh morning temperatures. According to a notification issued by the Sindh Education Department, all public and private schools will now open at 9:00am, while closing times will remain unchanged.

The revised schedule will take effect from Monday and will continue until January 26, officials said. Education authorities noted that the decision was made as cold weather persists in several parts of Sindh, particularly during early morning hours, which can pose health risks for students.
