PPSC Announces Two-Phase Schedule for Combined Competitive Examination 2025

The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has officially announced that the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2025 for BS-17 posts will be conducted in two phases, according to a public notice issued on January 2, 2026.

The announcement has been made to inform candidates appearing in the CCE-2025 (Case No. 36C2025) about the revised examination structure and tentative schedule.

Phase-I: MCQs-Based General Knowledge Paper

According to PPSC, Phase-I of the Combined Competitive Examination will consist of a single MCQs-based paper of General Knowledge.

  • Paper Type: MCQs
  • Subject: General Knowledge
  • Tentative Date: January 25, 2026 (Sunday)
  • All registered candidates will be required to appear in this first phase.

Phase-II: Remaining Papers for Qualified Candidates Only

PPSC clarified that Phase-II will be conducted only for candidates who qualify Phase-I by meeting the prescribed passing criteria in the General Knowledge paper.

Only shortlisted candidates will be allowed to appear in the remaining written papers of the Combined Competitive Examination.
